I’m gonna do this without being the third person.
My name is Steve Zappa. I consider myself a rather fun, outgoing, sometimes a tad crazy and an always easy going guy. The craziness probably emerges when I put on the unicorn onesie, but nonethless I’m very nice. Now before this sounds like more like a dating profile, let’s get into the meat.
I’ve been mixing relatively close to 5 years now with the past year being my most honourous year so far with a fair collection of U18′s Festivals and other venues, I’ve been able to showcase my art. My preferences revolve around house, not limited to your generic big room bangers and hands up tracks but also a profound love for tech/french/traditional house. With my taste in music, I enjoy and have a passion for both my opening sets and peak hour sets.
I love to blend tracks live to give the crowd a touch of familiarity to tracks they may not relate to as well as picking the right ones to take it home. Involving the crowd is also a favourite method of mine whether it be working my mic or acknowledging them, the night is about them, not myself, and I want to be enjoying it with them by sharing my music.

Meeting many appreciative and great people along my way, I have had the honour of playing at some of the biggest gigs of my life. Some venues I had never thought I would be playing at until later in my career, I had achieved in a matter of months in 2012. Since sharing my music with the people at these places, I have kept a positive attitude and open arms to all opportunities which come my way. Limits are what you create of them, so I will continue to work hard for this all!

I’ve set my foot in the industry in many ways, from DJ sets, MCing at various events & even Graphic Designing for many different events/nightclubs/artists. My interests not only lie in the DJ sector of the industry, but the industry as a whole. I’m happy to DJ, MC, Design & Promote because I want to make my mark on the industry and help make it better.
